Twitter recently released a Lead Generation Card which adds a richer experience to the promoted Tweets when expanded. It should greatly help businesses drive qualified leads.
One of the new features allows users to share their email address with a business without leaving Twitter’s website or manually populating a form.
Lead Generation Card is very intuitive and easy to understand. When you expand a Tweet, you will see a description of the offer with a call to action button. The name and email address fields will already be pre-populated so all you would have to do is click on the call to action.
Currently the Lead Generation Card is only available to Twitter’s managed advertisers, however, it will soon become available to small and mid-sized businesses as well.
